How To: Invite a Driver to Your Carpool

Invite other parents or drivers to share carpool responsibilities.

Sending an Invitation

1. Open the carpool
2. Go to the Members tab
3. Tap Invite Friend
4. Choose an invitation method:

Option 1: QR Code

1. Show the QR code on your screen
2. Have the invitee open Kid Hop and tap Got An Invite?
3. They tap Scan to scan your QR code

Option 2: Share Link

1. Tap the Share button
2. Send the link via text, email, or WhatsApp
3. The invitee taps the link to join

Accepting an Invitation

If you received an invitation:

Via QR Code

1. Download and open Kid Hop
2. Tap Got An Invite? on the dashboard
3. Tap Scan and point your camera at the QR code
4. Tap Done when successful

Via Link

1. Download Kid Hop if needed
2. Tap the invitation link you received
3. The app will automatically process the invitation

Notes

• You must be signed in to send invitations
• Each invitation can only be used once
• Invited drivers can set their availability and seat count
• The carpool owner can remove drivers from the Drivers tab
